@OdinStalzzo: All of those might I add when you really think about it are the same in the end. say for the workaholic he enjoys working like the hippie enjoys being free and the addict enjoys his vises. They're all the same when it comes to enjoyment. and wether you believe in religion or not and think I'll have a 2nd chance after I die, this life is the only thing we're sure of. I think everyone should just invest your time in what you enjoy by not limiting yourself to one "vise" (work, drugs, playing guitar, or video games) and be creative in spending your time. then I guess it becomes all about time managment.. which this article is trying to say video games is bad if your not making money.
If you've ever seen the movie 12 Monkeys with Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt's character rambles (in a mental institution to Bruce Willis) about how Majority rules and if everyone acted crazy but that was normal and you come along acting what we think is normal now and YOUR the one thats different then, YOU are indeed the crazy one because YOUR different and need to convert to normal crazy (did I lose anyone yet? hope not) then that makes the phrase "bad habits" obsolete.
Who's to say what we do in our spare time is "Bad". the only thing bad about saying all this is I dont agree with drugs and this could very well be defending the drug addict which in turn like drugs any other habit/hobby/work could very well be un healthy if not taken in moderation.
I could go on all day!

So pretty much if your not out making money in all of your time you are spending money. Doesn't Donald Trump support life like this? Yea he's rich but I think its a sad existents to live only caring about money. If it takes Donald Trump 30 minutes every morning to walk to work (an example only! I know they guy wont walk to work) to be exactly on time or what ever his norm is for being on time and clock in but he stops for a minute to pick up a 500 dollar bill. Donald Trump wont stop pick up the 500 bill because in that one minute he spends at work he would have made WAY more money "just being clocked in" at work then to have stopped and picked up 500 free dollars on a side walk. But say he does one day. on this day one of his financial advisors comes to him and tells him "Your reluctance to being on time for work is costing you 0.4 or your income." He now has to mentally adjust himself to not think about picking up money for the couple of seconds he spent picking up that dollar and not spend any time to enjoy himself even thinking about doing such non-productive things.

Sad.

I know theres a difference though in this extreme and trying to deny you have a video game addiction that IS in fact taking up all/a unhealthy amount of your money.
sadly I'm gonna admit I think I play more video games then I than I should and may very well fit into this category.
So then the question is are you a hippie, a addict, or an anal retentive workaholic when it comes to how you live your life and what you enjoy? #money

@NapoleonThe12th: or as we say in statistics, correlation does not mean causation. It's like that graph that shows that ice cream sales in the U.S. have increased at the same rate as the murder rate. It's funny, but oh so terrifying if it actually meant the two are related.
...which they are totally not... at all... #money
